Happy Birthday to ME!

Wow! I cannot believe it, but I am another year older. :( Not sure how I feel about this age, last year didn't seem to bad, but this year is getting me a little more. When I got on the Internet today, Google gave me a nice surprise.

Cute huh???? I've never seen Google wish someone a happy birthday before. I felt pretty special :)

I love birthdays. I don't just me love them, I LOVE them! It's the one day a year that is all about you. I know that might sound selfish, but oh well. It's the reason I make such a HUGE deal out of everyone's birthdays. It has always been a tradition to celebrate my birthday on the actual day with my favorite dinner and dessert. My mommy will be making my dinner tonight and I cannot wait. I love this tradition and want to continue it with my kids. I keep trying to do it with my husband's birthday, but the Army always throws a wrench into my plans. Ah well.

I noticed this year I haven't been making a big deal about my birthday. I have come to the point where I would rather make a big deal about someone else's birthday than about my own. I'm not a huge fan of the spotlight.

So, here is to another year. Growing older and wiser (and trying to keep the gray hairs away)

I will hopefully have a recap of tonight sometime this week. I still have to recap Halloween. Oh, where has the time gone???
