Our 4th

We had a fun day today. We swam at my moms, cooked out, took a nap and went to the beach to watch the sunset. A friend of ours and her son came with us.
However, if you have ever been around toddlers you know that you cannot bring one toy for two kids. That is what happened tonight. I did not know my friend had a truck to play with and the boys had a hard time sharing the truck. Next time I go, I will ask what the other person is bringing.

Baby E loved all of the attention she got while at the beach. I have found out she takes after me and sweats like you wouldn't believe. I feel so bad for her, it's not fun to sweat so quickly, especially when you live in Fl.
We had a beautiful sunset.

When had this view on one side and this view on the other side:
See those lovely storm clouds coming in? Yea....they ended up making us leave before the fireworks began. The wind picked up and the lightning got closer, so we packed up and left. We literally made it to the car with about 2 minutes to spare before the rain poured down. Talk about good timing!

After baths, both kids passed out. I can still hear fireworks going off and I hope they stop soon. I have a feeling I won't be sleeping too good until they are done. Let's pray those who are setting them off are sober and making good choices!
Happy 4th! I hope you all had a great day!!!!

Happy 4th of July

I hope you all have a great 4th of July! The kids and I have already swam, cooked out and are now napping. We will be heading to the beach later to meet up with some friends to see the fireworks. Have a happy and safe 4th! Please remember we are able to celebrate this holiday because of those who are serving and protecting our country!

Hellloooooo JULY!

I don't think I can express how happy I am to see July. This is the last full month that I have to be a single mommy!!!!! That's right, this deployment is almost over!!!!! I cannot believe we've finally made it! Ah! Now on to all of the stuff I need to get done before M gets home. Going to all the doctor appointments for Baby E during June has thrown me off and I feel like I have  a TON to do in a short amount of time. Ah well, hopefully I'll get it all done.

Also, I made a Fathers Day card for M and sent it to him. Seeing as he wasn't here for us to celebrate together, I wanted him to know we were thinking of him and missing him. I was really proud of the way it turned out and I wanted to share it, I just had to wait for him to get it before posting it.

I really like how it turned out and it didn't cost me anything other than some paper, time and ink.

We are doing good on the potty training front. Baby E is doing great and only wheezing every once in awhile. Things are going good.
I still have about 10lbs left to lose before M comes home. Guess I need to get my butt to the gym more in the upcoming weeks.

I never thought I would be so happy to see the month of July. :)
